Important: Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before booking. They form part of the agreement between Remember The Time Cultural Journeys, Inc. and the travelers included on a reservation. The primary traveler confirms that they are authorized to provide booking information and accept these Terms on behalf of all parties included in the reservation. A parent or legal guardian must complete RTT’s separate documents for every traveler under age 18.

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to every reservation and journey operated or arranged by Remember The Time Cultural Journeys, Inc. (“RTT,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). “Traveler,” “guest,” and “you” refer to each person named on a reservation. The journey description, invoice, booking confirmation, applicable promotional terms, Passenger Agreement, and any separately signed consent forms are incorporated into the agreement.
The person submitting the reservation is the “primary traveler.” By submitting a reservation, the primary traveler represents that they are authorized to provide and verify booking information and to acknowledge and accept these Terms and the Passenger Agreement on behalf of every traveler included in the reservation. The primary traveler is responsible for sharing all applicable booking documents, policies, itinerary requirements, and RTT communications with the other travelers on the booking.
The person making a reservation must be at least 21 years old.
The minimum age to travel is 12 unless a particular journey states a higher minimum. Every traveler under 18 must be accompanied throughout the journey by a parent or legal guardian. The parent or legal guardian must complete RTT’s separate minor consent, emergency medical authorization, and any applicable activity waiver before travel documents are issued.
RTT may decline or cancel a reservation when a traveler does not satisfy a published eligibility requirement. Any refund will be determined under the applicable cancellation terms and nonrecoverable supplier charges.
Unless otherwise stated, published prices are per person and based on two travelers sharing a room. Single and triple occupancy may be offered when available. Single-room requests are subject to the published single supplement. RTT does not provide roommate matching.
If one traveler in a shared room cancels before final payment, the remaining traveler must pay the applicable single supplement or select another available rooming option. If the roommate cancels after RTT has collected final payment, RTT will not impose a new single supplement on the remaining traveler unless that condition was disclosed in writing before booking.
Published prices include the taxes and mandatory fees identified as included in the journey description. Unless expressly included, prices do not include airfare, airport transfers for U.S. journeys, Tour Director or guide gratuities, driver gratuities, passport or identification costs, travel protection, personal expenses, hotel incidentals, optional activities, or meals and beverages not listed as included.
After booking, RTT will not increase the journey price except to apply a disclosed single supplement resulting from a roommate cancellation or to correct an obvious clerical or payment-processing error. RTT will notify the affected traveler promptly.
A nonrefundable deposit of $350 per person is required to secure a reservation, unless a journey or promotion states a different amount. A reservation is not confirmed until RTT receives the required deposit or full payment and issues a confirmation.
Travelers may pay in full at booking or use an installment arrangement offered through RTT invoices. Accepted methods are PayPal, credit card, debit card, and paper check. Paper-check reservations and promotional pricing are not secured until funds clear.
Final payment is due 90 days before departure. If final payment is not received when due, RTT may cancel the reservation and retain amounts permitted under the cancellation schedule. RTT may, in its discretion, provide a written grace period of up to 10 days. A grace period is not automatic and does not amend other reservations.
Returned or dishonored payments are subject to a $35 fee. RTT does not charge a separate processing or convenience fee, although a traveler’s financial institution may impose its own charges.
Promotional pricing is available only for qualifying new bookings and is secured when RTT receives the required cleared deposit. An offer ends on its stated expiration date, when the stated number of spaces is sold, or whichever occurs first. Promotions cannot be combined or applied retroactively unless RTT expressly states otherwise. Each journey may have different promotional conditions.
Cancellation must be submitted in writing to reservations@rttculturaljourneys.com. The effective cancellation date is the date RTT receives the written notice. The following penalties apply to the total journey price, not merely the amount paid:
Before final payment, a traveler may request to transfer the nonrefundable deposit to another available RTT departure. Approval is subject to availability, supplier terms, and any published promotional restrictions. Other payments are governed by the cancellation schedule unless RTT agrees otherwise in writing.
A reservation may be transferred to another eligible person before departure only when RTT and the affected suppliers permit the change. The replacement traveler must satisfy all eligibility requirements, provide required information, and accept the current Terms.
A $25 administrative fee applies per occurrence for each requested passenger-name change, correction, or update, plus any costs imposed by suppliers. Certain changes may be restricted or unavailable after final payment, ticketing, or supplier deadlines.

Eligible refunds will generally be processed within 10 business days after RTT receives the cancellation notice, although the traveler’s bank or payment provider may require additional processing time. Payment-processing charges retained by a payment provider are nonrefundable to the extent permitted by law.
After travel begins, unused services are nonrefundable. A traveler who leaves early, arrives late, misses an activity, or chooses not to participate is responsible for resulting costs and should look to independently purchased travel protection for any available reimbursement.
RTT journeys generally require at least 10 paying travelers and are limited to the published maximum, currently 20 travelers unless otherwise stated. RTT will normally decide whether the minimum has been reached no later than 80 days before departure.
If RTT cancels solely because the minimum has not been reached, each affected traveler may choose either a refund of amounts paid to RTT for the canceled journey or transfer of those amounts to an available future RTT journey. RTT is not responsible for independently purchased airfare, lodging, insurance, or other arrangements.
Travel involves changing conditions. RTT may reasonably modify hotels, restaurants, guides, transportation, attractions, routing, schedules, and the order of activities. When practicable, RTT will use a reasonably comparable replacement and provide notice.
RTT may change an arrival or departure city only when reasonably necessary because of safety, government action, transportation disruption, severe weather, loss of contracted services, or another circumstance beyond RTT’s reasonable control.
If an included experience becomes unavailable and RTT cannot provide an equal or better substitute, RTT will refund the amount reasonably allocated to that canceled experience. Minor timing changes, reasonable substitutions, or reordering do not entitle a traveler to a refund.
RTT may delay, modify, suspend, or cancel a journey or service because of circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disaster, epidemic or public-health event, government action, civil unrest, war or threat of war, terrorism or threat thereof, labor disruption, transportation failure, supplier insolvency or failure, closure of a destination or venue, or another force-majeure event.
In these circumstances, refunds or credits will be limited to amounts RTT actually recovers from suppliers for the affected services, less any nonrecoverable supplier charges and reasonable costs already incurred, to the extent permitted by applicable law. RTT is not responsible for independent arrangements or consequential losses.
RTT strongly recommends comprehensive travel protection covering cancellation, trip interruption, delay, medical expenses, emergency evacuation, baggage, and other risks. Unless RTT expressly states otherwise, any insurer or policy link is provided for convenience and the insurer is independent from RTT.
Coverage decisions, policy interpretation, and claims are solely between the traveler and insurer. Travelers who decline coverage accept responsibility for losses that might otherwise have been insured. RTT does not guarantee that any claim will be covered.
Each journey has a published activity level. Travelers are responsible for reviewing the itinerary and choosing a journey appropriate for their abilities, health, and mobility. Some journeys may require extended walking, standing, sitting, stairs, uneven surfaces, or boarding transportation without personal assistance.
Accessibility requests should be submitted as early as possible and preferably at least 90 days before departure. RTT will consider later requests when reasonably practicable. RTT will communicate requests to suppliers but cannot guarantee that every request can be fulfilled.
RTT Tour Managers, guides, and drivers cannot provide lifting, wheelchair pushing, medication administration, toileting, dressing, feeding, or other personal care. A traveler needing regular personal assistance must travel with a capable companion who is responsible for providing it.
Mobility devices are subject to transportation-equipment, storage, weight, battery, and supplier limitations. Motorized devices cannot be accepted on a journey when the contracted equipment cannot transport them safely. Travelers must contact RTT before booking to confirm the requirements for a particular departure.
RTT may make reasonable changes or restrict participation when necessary to address a direct safety risk or when a requested modification would fundamentally alter the journey, subject to applicable law.
Travelers are responsible for their medications, medical equipment, insurance, and medical fitness for travel. A traveler who develops a contagious illness or presents a serious health or safety risk may be asked to refrain from an activity or leave the group, subject to applicable law. The traveler is responsible for resulting medical, transportation, lodging, and other costs.
When reasonably necessary, RTT or its local representatives may contact emergency services and arrange transportation for evaluation or treatment. RTT does not provide medical advice and cannot guarantee the availability or quality of care. The traveler remains financially responsible. Separate written authorization is required for minors.
Dietary restrictions and allergy information should be submitted at least 60 days before departure. RTT will communicate requests to relevant suppliers but cannot guarantee accommodation or an allergen-free environment. Travelers with severe allergies must take appropriate precautions, carry necessary medication, and advise RTT of any emergency plan.
RTT is committed to respectful group travel. Harassment, discrimination, threats, violence, illegal activity, repeated disruption, unsafe behavior, intoxication that creates a risk or material disruption, and failure to follow reasonable safety instructions are prohibited. Smoking and vaping are prohibited on group transportation.
RTT’s administrative office, after consulting the Tour Manager when practicable, may remove a traveler from an activity or journey when conduct creates a serious safety risk, violates this policy, or materially disrupts the group. A removed traveler is responsible for their own transportation and accommodations and is not entitled to a refund for unused services.
Travelers who consume alcohol must do so responsibly and comply with applicable laws and supplier rules. RTT may refuse alcohol service or restrict participation when reasonably necessary for safety.
Bedding, room location, adjoining rooms, accessibility features, and other hotel requests are requests only and are not guaranteed. Travelers are responsible for hotel incidentals and damage they cause.
Motorcoach journeys permit one checked bag per person plus one small personal item unless the journey materials state otherwise. Supplier baggage restrictions may also apply. Travelers are responsible for safeguarding their property. To the fullest extent permitted by law, RTT is not responsible for lost, stolen, delayed, or damaged personal property.
Unless a journey expressly includes transfers, travelers are responsible for reaching the starting hotel by the published cutoff time and for leaving from the ending location. International journeys may include airport transfers as stated in the itinerary; U.S. journeys generally do not.
RTT is not responsible for delayed, canceled, or missed personal flights. Travelers are responsible for required identification and travel documents. Transportation equipment, routing, timing, and seating may change. Motorcoach seating will generally rotate according to instructions from the Tour Manager.
If a traveler arrives late or misses the group, RTT will reasonably attempt to help the traveler rejoin, but the traveler is responsible for all resulting costs and missed services are nonrefundable. Pre- and post-journey arrangements are independent unless expressly confirmed by RTT in writing.
Hotels, transportation companies, restaurants, guides, museums, attractions, local operators, insurers, and other service providers are independent suppliers. They are not employees or agents of RTT merely because they provide services to RTT travelers or display RTT identification.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, RTT is not responsible for the acts or omissions of independent suppliers or for losses caused by circumstances beyond RTT’s reasonable control. Suppliers may apply their own lawful safety and conduct rules and may refuse service when those rules are violated.
Travelers understand that group travel involves ordinary and inherent risks, including transportation delays, changing weather, walking and uneven surfaces, crowds, food-related illness, exposure to communicable illness, limited access to medical services, and the actions of other travelers or third parties. Travelers voluntarily participate with knowledge of the itinerary and published activity level and accept responsibility for preparing appropriately.
This acknowledgment does not waive rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be waived. Additional, activity-specific acknowledgments may be required for optional or higher-risk activities.
RTT may photograph or record journey activities, but promotional use of a traveler’s identifiable image is governed by a separate optional photo/video release. Declining the release will not affect eligibility to travel. A parent or legal guardian must separately authorize promotional use of a minor’s image.
Travelers must follow photography restrictions established by guides, performers, venues, community members, and culturally or spiritually sensitive sites. No traveler may photograph another person in a manner that is harassing, intrusive, unlawful, or contrary to announced rules.
RTT handles personal information under its posted Privacy Policy. RTT may collect and retain information reasonably necessary to administer a reservation, operate a journey, comply with law, address safety, prevent fraud, and preserve business records.
Sensitive information such as date of birth, identification details, emergency contacts, dietary needs, and accessibility information will be available only to authorized RTT personnel, suppliers who need it to provide services, and emergency responders or authorities when reasonably necessary. RTT does not store complete payment-card credentials in its own systems.
RTT may communicate by email, telephone, and transactional text message to administer a reservation. Marketing consent is separate from essential booking communications and may be withdrawn as provided in the applicable message or Privacy Policy.
Nothing in these Terms waives any consumer right, duty, remedy, or responsibility that cannot lawfully be waived or limited. These Terms do not exclude liability for RTT conduct to the extent applicable law does not permit exclusion.
Travelers should report a concern promptly during the journey so RTT has a reasonable opportunity to address it. A post-journey complaint must be submitted in writing to info@rttculturaljourneys.com within 30 calendar days after the journey ends and should include the reservation number, relevant facts, and requested resolution.
RTT will review the complaint in good faith and may request supporting information. Nothing in this section shortens a legal deadline that applicable law does not permit the parties to shorten.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Before filing a lawsuit, the parties agree to attempt good-faith informal resolution. If the dispute is not resolved, either party may request nonbinding mediation in Florida before litigation.
Any court proceeding shall be brought in a state or federal court having lawful jurisdiction in the Florida county where RTT maintains its principal place of business, unless applicable law requires another location. These Terms do not require binding arbitration and do not waive the right to a jury trial.
By checking the applicable agreement box or signing electronically, the primary traveler confirms that they have had an opportunity to review, save, and print these Terms; agree to conduct the transaction electronically; and are authorized to acknowledge and accept these Terms and the Passenger Agreement on behalf of every traveler included in the reservation.
The primary traveler accepts responsibility for providing accurate booking information and for sharing the Terms, booking confirmation, journey requirements, and RTT communications with all travelers on the booking. For every traveler under age 18, a parent or legal guardian must complete any separate consent, medical authorization, or other documents required by RTT.
RTT may retain the primary traveler’s name, reservation number, date and time of acceptance, Terms version and effective date, checkbox responses, and related electronic audit information.
If a provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect. RTT’s failure to enforce a provision on one occasion is not a waiver of that provision.
These Terms, the booking confirmation, journey description, invoice, applicable promotional terms, Passenger Agreement, and separately signed forms constitute the agreement relating to the reservation. A journey-specific written term controls over a conflicting general term only for that journey.
RTT may update these Terms prospectively. The version accepted at booking will generally govern that reservation unless a change is required by law or the traveler expressly accepts a later version.
